The ₹5 Mata Vaishno Devi coin was issued by the Government of India in 2012 for the Silver Jubilee of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. It was a circulation commemorative — millions were struck at the Mumbai mint and handed out in change — and the same design was also sold in ₹5 + ₹10 uncirculated sets and a ₹5/₹10/₹25 proof set (the ₹25 is silver).
