Maratha Confederacy, silver ankushi ½ rupee, Wai mint, not listed in M&W, 5.48g. Very fine, Rare. The 'Ankushi' rupees struck at Wai are distinguished by a distinct way in which the Ankush is executed as a symbol, and by an extra dot between 'lu' and 'S' of the word 'Julus' on reverse.
