Terracotta sealing, Malwa area, with Brahmi legend Vargaghosha inscribed below a lotus flower, Gupta period, (c.300-400 AD), 4.53g. Extremely fine, Very rare. The legend on these sealings has been alternatively read as 'Vangaghosha' and 'Vishwaghosha'. The stamp is undoubtedly Vaishnavite in nature.
