Rev: The Chalukyan temple with legend in Kannada that reads ‘Sri Ramesh(var a?). Extremely fine and extremely rare. Unique. The very basic term Gadyana comes from the symbol Gada stamped on the Chalukya gold coins. Prior to this, the coins were commonly referred by the name ‘Varaha’ due to the Boar symbol commonly seen on the Badami Chalukya coin
