Kadambas of Hangal, Uninscribed Gold Heavy Fanam, 0.56g, Obv: Lord Hanuman seated frontal between two whisks (chauris) with head turned to right in a chapetadana posture; sun and moon on either side, Rev: ‘Dhananjaya’ or right-handed Shankha, a well-known symbol for wealth, within a lotus-shaped border (Not listed in Mitch or Ganesh). About extremely fine, extremely rare. The type of the Fanam corresponds to Gadyanas of the same type with Kannada legend Nakara.
