Vijaynagar Empire, Venkatapatideva raya-II, Gold Varaha- Hon, 3.42g, Obv: Lord Venkateshwara standing, within a decorated garland frame, with a Shankha in his upper left hand and a Chakra in the upper right hand. Lower hands show Mudra. The ornate arch has 'Keerthimukha', figure on the centre top tip, Rev: “Sri Ven/katagiri/shwara” in Devnagari, inscribed and spread over 3 lines, with a double line separator. Extremely fine and extremely rare Coins with complete Prominataly visible 'Keerthimukha figure are exceedingly rare. Very few specimens are known.
