Very fine, rare. 3 coins. These coins are sometimes attributed to the Barid Shahi sultans of Bidar. However, there was no ‘Sultan Mahmud’ in the Barid Shahi dynasty and as it is clearly evident from one of these coins, the countermark ‘Amir Shah’ has been struck over ‘Sultan Mahmud’.
