Ahmed Shah, Copper Cash, 3.22g, Ariyalur or Alandur Mint, AH 11(6)X (Not listed in major Publications). Extremely fine, extremely rare. Issued by Nawabs of Arkat. The reading of the mint-name is tentative; it could be either of the two suggestions. Ariyalur was the headquarters of a Subah under the Nawabs. Alandur was a garrison station, presently located just outside Chennai city.
