Akbar, Gold Mohur, 10.88g, Dar al Zarb Patna Mint, AH 985, Obv: Kalima within dotted square, AH date at lower left corner, Rev: Full name of Akbar in dotted rectangle, mint name below (KM# 108.4). Extremely fine+, extremely rare. Akbar instituted the Kalima type coinage at Patna soon after he conquered it from Daud Shah Kararani. Round mohurs are known only for two years - 984 and 985, the latter being much rarer than former. In 986, the shape changed to rectangular.
