Jahandar Shah, Gold Mohur, 10.97g, “Sahib Qiran” couplet, Sikakul Mint, RY Ahad, (Unpublished in major Publications). Extremely fine, exceedingly rare. Unique so far. Sikakul (or Shrikakulam) was a port of considerable importance on the Eastern coast of India, alongside Machhalipatan. A mint operational sporadically here produced rare issues. The gold is exceptionally rare and this is the first known coin of Jahandar Shah who ruled less than a year after the death of Shah Alam Bahadur.
