Kushan, Vasudeva, Gold Dinar, 7.80g, “Oesho” type, Obv: Nimbate king standing wearing armour and conical helmet, holding a standard and offering sacrifice at an altar, trident-standard with ribbons in the backdrop, Bactrian legend ‘Shaonano Shao Bazodeo Koshano’ around, Rev: Shiva with flaming halo reclining against Nandi, holding trident in one hand and a diadem in the other; Bactrian legend ‘Oesho’ to right and a Tamgha in the left field (Gobl# 509). Very fine, rare.
