Persia Achaemenid Empire, of the time of Darius I to Xerxes II, Silver Siglos, 9.64g, Sardes Mint, (Carradice Type IIIb A/B), Obv: Persian king, wearing radiate tiara, in running/kneeling stance to right, holding bow in his left hand, spear in his right and with a quiver over his shoulder. Rev: Oblong incuse. (BMC Arabia pl. XXV, 17. (pl. XII)). Very fine for type, very rare.
