Early Vijaynagar Period, Gold Ramatanka Temple Token, ca. 15-16th cent.AD, scyphate shape, 13.40g, Obv: Scene of Lord Rama’s Pattābhishekam – Lod Rama and Goddess Sita enthroned facing, flanked by attendants; below, Lord Hanuman kneeling with attendants, Rev: Lord Hanuman within a six-pointed star; stylized Devnagari legend around (similar to Mitchiner-5). Very fine, extremely rare. A rare example of early Vijayanagar period scyphate temple token with clear and attractive elaborate design elements.
