Burhan Nizam Shah II Abbasi, Silver, 1.77g, Burhanabad Mint, Obv: Persian legend “Zarb Burhanabad” in circle, Rev: The Shi’i version of Shahada (Not listed in G&H). Extremely fine, exceedingly rare. During the short reign of Burhan II, rare silver coins struck to a 7gm standard were issued. They were all virtually unknown two decades ago but a few have since turned up on the market.
