Northern Maharashtra, Uninscribed (?) die-struck coin in Copper Alloyed , 3.65g, Obv: Thre

Northern Maharashtra, Uninscribed (?) die-struck coin in Copper Alloyed , 3.65g, Obv: Three arched hill, Nandipada to right and a water tank-like symbol above, Rev: Six arched hill, symbol like Brahmi letter “Na” to right, open cross with Taurines above and the water tank-like symbol at the top. Very fine, very rare. Some of these coins show traces of Brahmi letters engraved retrograde and there is a likelihood that they might bear the legend ‘Nasikam’. If this is confirmed, it will suggest a major discovery of an urban centre in Northern Maharashtra issuing its own coins in the pre-Satavahana
