Private Banknote, Re. 1, issued by the Bengal Zamindar, Sir Daniel Mackinnon Hamilton Note of Bengal, the note promises to pay the bearer, on demand, at the Co-op Bhandar, in exchange for value received, One Rupee’s Worth of rice, cloth, oil or other goods. Serial No. AE41, signed in ink by the Manager, Sudhanshu Bhusan Mazumdar, and the Zamindar, D M Hamilton, dated 3 Dec 1938 at Gosaba in Bengal. These notes were issued in Bengal between 1936-1938. Stamped Cancelled and crossed across the note. Very Rare.
