Bedar Bakht, Silver, Rupee, Ahmedabad Mint, AH xxx2/Ahad, Taj o Takht couplet, a sword near RY date and complete mint name at top on rev. Very Fine, Great Rarity. In 1788, Ghulam Qadir Rohilla dethroned Shah Alam II and barbarously blinded him. He enthroned Bedar Bakhat as a ruler. However, the rule of Bedar Bakht was short lived and was ended by the Maratha Intervasion. Coins of Bedar Bakht struck in his ownname of are exceedingly Rare, and are known to be issued only from mints at Shahjahanabad (Delhi) & Ahmedabad(in North India).
