Alamgir II, Silver, Kalima Rupee, Kalima on obv in a square-area, name and title of the ruler on rev, Shahjahanabad Mint, AH 1168/2 (KM 464.1). Very Fine, Extremely Rare. The coin represents the resuurection of the Kalima in Mughal numismatics. The earlier practice of putting the Kalima on the obv of coins was stopped by Aurangzeb under a religious pretext.
