Private Note, Rupee 1, Issued by Sir Daniel Mackinnon Hamilton and it gives a Promissory Note to pay the bearer, on demand, at the Cooperative Bhandar, in exchange for value received, One Rupees worth of rice, cloth, oil or other goods. Sr. No. AI 35, dated in rubber stamp impression, Dec 3, 1938, signed by his Manager and himself as a Zamindar in hand. Sir Hamilton was a zamindar of 3 islands in Bengal, admeasuring 25 acres. The note was issued during 1936-38, Cancelled in the centre, folded otherwise Very Fine+, Very Rare.
