A small die-cut on an edge otherwise Extremely Fine with lustre, Great Rarity for the patriots of India. During the Mutiny or 1st Revolt of Independence of 1857-59, Khan Bahadur Khan, a descendent of Hafiz Rahmat Khan and the Rohilla Nawab of Bareli (1758-1776), declared himself independent of the Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar. The Independent Government sat at Bareli, issued Rupees on the Mughal pattern of Shah Alam II with current Hijri year and a regnal year, 7
