Bhonslas of Nagpur, Copper, Takka or Dhabu (Paisa), in the name of Shah Alam (?), with the seated figure of a male God (possibly Shiva in a Yogic posture) on rev. Rare and unusual. Prashant Kulkarni lists copper coins of the Bhonsla Rajas, minted at an uncertain mint, showing the frontal face of a Hindu God as a differentiating mark. However, this is the first time a full frontal seated effigy of a deity is seen on a copper coin from the Vidarbha region.
