This town is about 27 kilometers south east of Satara, it was fairly large trade center. The town was under administration of Patwardhan Family. Maratha account state this as a subsidiary mint of Satara. In Various old maratha account books “Rahimatpuri” Rupee is mentioned, but till recent this coins were unpublished. Extremely Rare, Great Chance for maratha coin collectors.
