Qasba Rahimatpur Mint, Silver, Do-Dandi Rupee, in the name of Shah Ali Gohar, mint name at bottom on rev, RY 7. About Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare. This town is about 27 kilometers south east of Satara, it was fairly large trade center. The town was under administration of Patwardhan Family. Maratha account state this as a subsidiary mint of Satara. In Various old maratha account books “Rahimatpuri” Rupee is mentioned, but till recent this coins were unpublished. Extremely Rare, Great Chance for maratha coin collectors.
