Nasir al Din Mahmud Shah I, Gold Tanka, 11.50g, Muhammadabad urf Champanir Mint, AH 902, (G&G# 78). Extremely fine+, extremely rare. Mahmud Shah I is also known as Mahmud Begda (2 Forts-conqueror of two forts) he conquered fort of Girnar and renamed it Mustafabad and Fort of Champanir and renamed it Muhammadabad. Despite the length and success of his reign, Mahumud have struck very few gold coins.
