Punch Mark coin, Chedi Janapada, Silver Karshapana, 3.32g, Obverse has four punches in ABCC configuration – 1 x Humped Bull to left, 2 x Geometric mark having a dotted circle surrounded by six semi-circles with dots inside and 1 x ploughshare with symbolic oxen (represented by taurines), also resembling like a ‘candelabra’. One banker’s mark on reverse. Extremely fine, unpublished and extremely rare. Mitchiner lists similar coins with ‘candelabra’-like mark from the Son river valley. While Rajgor refers to a hoard in Patna Museum with similar marks but at Half Karshapana weight standard. Which
