Satavahana, Vasithiputra Siri Satakani, Silver Drachm, 1.94g, Obv: Bust with curly long hair & prominent nose and thick lips, wearing a high head ornament, Brahmi legend around: Rano Vasithiputasa Siri Satakanisa, Rev: Four orb Ujjayini symbol, six-arched hill with a crescent, Sun and river flowing below, Southern Brahmi - Tamil-Telugu / Prakrit legends around could be read as Arahanaku Vahitti Makanaku Hiru Hatakanaku. Very fine, rare. The coin is an error with double-striking of the obverse die in the front resulting in double impressions. Such error coins in the Satavahana coinage are rare.
