Jamkhandi ?, Silver Rupee, 11.28g, in the name of Ahmed Shah Bahadur, RY Ahad, Pseudo Mint name Arkat. Serval shroff marks, very fine, extremely rare. A similar coin has been illustrated by Maheshwari and Wiggins as a rupee of Jamkhandi mint in their work on Maratha mints and coinage. However, it is not possible to distinguish easily between the British issues and their copies supposedly minted at Jamkhandi by Maratha’s.
