Sampgaon, Silver Rupee, 11.33g, “Azamnagar” type, in the name of Muhammad Shah. Complete mint name visible including the last part which usually goes off the flan. Cleaned, extremely fine for type, very rare. The mint was erroneously identied by Maheshawari and Wiggins as ‘Azamnagar Bankapur’. On this coin the final portion of ‘…npgaon’ is clearly visible.
