Kushans, Vasishka, Gold Dinar, 7.66g, Obv: Nimbate king wearing conical helmet and armour, standing offering sacrifice at an altar with ribbonned trident standard in the background; traces of Bactrian legend “…ShAO BAZEShK…” around, Brahmi letters “Ve” to right, “Gi” between the feet and “Ru” next to the altar, Rev: Goddess Ardokhsho seated on throne holding cornucopia and noose, legend “ARDOKhShO” to right and Tamgha in left field (Goebl# 556). Very fine, rare.
