Gulshanabad- Nashik, Silver 1/2 Rupee, 5.65g, in the name of Shah Alam, AH XXX4 (for AH 1184), with ‘Sun-face’ symbol in the central line on reverse, bow-and-arrow (partly seen) in top line and three-pronged Bael leaf in the mint-name. Probably unpublished, very fine+, exceedingly rare. The early fractions of Nasik issues are all extremely rare. Issues with ‘sun-face’ symbol as the main (central) symbol are not listed by M&W but a couple of rupees are known to exist. Going by the sequence published in M&W, these ought to have been issued in AH1183-1185 interval. This is for the first time a ½
