Western Kshatrapas, Nahapana, Western Maharashtra region, Uninscribed Lead, 1.80g, Obv: Wheel standard, triangle-headed standard and a Damaru symbol to the right, Rev: Kshaharata dynastic emblem of thunderbolt and arrow. Very fine+, very rare. It is possible that this coin is issued by a local feudatory dynasty in the Deccan acknowledging Kshaharata suzerainty in times when Nahapana was supreme during the Kshatrapa-Satavahana conflict.
