Shah Jahan, Silver Rupee, 11.56g, Katak Mint, AH 1065/ RY 28, Legend on both sides enclosed in a double rectangular border, two bladed sword placed below the RY on left margin of reverse. Unlisted, very fine+, very rare. The double sword, or ‘Zulfiqar’, is usually associated with Ali, the fourth Caliph of Islam. It accompanies his name in the marginal inscription.
