Vijaynagar Empire, Harihara Raya II, Gold, 1/2 Varaha, 1.69g, Obv: Lord Vishnu seated in padmasana with his consort Lakshmi on his left thigh. The God holds in one right hand the Sudarsana Chakra or discus and the other right hand is in abhayamudra. One left hand holds the Sankha or conch and the other left hand is around the consort's waist, Rev: Three line Devnagari legend with rules between the lines. Sharp bold strike, about extremely fine, rare in this grade.
