Timurid, Sulayman Mirza, Gold 1/24 Mohur- 1/8th Ashrafi, 0.47g, "Mintless- Badakhshan" type, Obv: "Sultan Sulayman Badshah Ghazi, Khallada Allah Ta'ala" above, Rev: Kalima. Very fine, very rare. The kingdom of Badakhshan was governed for Babur but then lapsed to Sulayman. Humayun attempted to lay claims to it by marrying Shahzadeh Khanum the daughter of Sulayman. The politics played out well for a short while, but soon Sulayman asserted himself to rid his kingdom of its Mughal overlord.
