Lead Mudra, 4.17g, Obv: Devanagari legend "Mudra" Rev: "Maharaja" the reverse legend appears to have been inscribed in retrograde. Extremely fine extremely rare. Lead coins of Thanjavur Marathas are rare and were not listed by Maheshwari and Wiggins. They follow the same design as of the copper Cash coins. They were probably struck following similar Dutch coins issued from the nearby Nagapattanam.
