Transitional coinage, Silver, 11.37g, 'Hallee Rupee', Pune Mint, with Fasli date (123)9 added to the reverse, and nicely visible mint-name 'Muhiyabad'. Very fine, rare. An interesting aspect of this coin is the number '12' visible at 1 o'clock on obverse, which is commensurate with RY1(2) on reverse. It is interesting to note that Fasli year 1239 corresponds to AD1829-30, so the number '12' might well correspond to the regnal year of the Company, counting from the fall of Maratha Peshwai in January 1818.
