Shah Jahan, Silver, Rupee, 11.40g, Aurangnagar Mint, RY 15, central inscription within square, knots at corners on both sides (KM# 235.30). Complete Mint name on left margin. About uncirculated, exceedingly rare. Town Mulher presently located in Nashik district of Maharashtra State was capital of the small Rajput kingdom of Baglana. The town was strategically important for Military & Trade route. During Shah Jahan’s expedition towards South Aurangzeb under his viceroyalty change the name of “Mulher” as “Aurangnagar”. Historically very important & very rare coin.
