Copper Great Cash- Treble Cash, 1.69g, Obv: Balemark in circle, Rev: Teague legend "Sri Ranga" in two lines (Prid# 88). Extremely fine, extremely rare. Major F. Pridmore given following details about Great Cash but he hasn’t illustration of the coin. "A GREAT CASH was authorized 9th September 1678. Proclaimed current in November as a TREBLE CASH at the rate of 42 to the fanam. A later resolution of November 1678 ordered the coinage to continue but now rated the coin as a DOUBLE CASH. The weight and fanam exchange rate remained the same as approved in September. Demonetized 16th February 1680".
