Humayun, Silver Tanka, 10.70g, Fathabad Mint, Obv: Legend within circle “Muhammad humayun ghazi” & legend around “al sultan al a zam wa al khaqan al mukarram khallada allah dhatahu wa mulkahu wa sultanahu adl bangala”, Rev: Shahada (G&G# B956). Usual Shroff marks and weak striking on reverse otherwise very fine+ for type, very rare. The Mughal Emperor Humayun conquered Bihar/ Bengal from Afghan rulers in AH 945 & during his stay in Bengal for short period of nine months he issued Silver coins.
