Guptas, Samudra Gupta, Gold, 7.52g, “Archer” type, Obv: Nimbate king standing holding arrow in right hand and left hand holds the bow, Brahmi legend “Samudra” below the hand, circular Brahmi legend start at 1 o’clock “Apratiratho Vijitya Kshitim Sucharitair Divamjayati”, Rev: Goddess seated on the couch holds a cornucopia in left hand and royal diadem in right hand, Brahmi legend “Apratiratho” to right (S. Kumar class I, varity A.2). Tiny edge nick/ Loop removal otherwise very fine.
