Medieval Karnataka, Isapura, Gold Fanam, 0.31g, Obv: Lord Hanuman seated sideways on his tail in Anjali mudra posture, Rev: Kannada legend “Isa / Pura” in two lines. Very fine, very rare. It is not certain if the legend on these coins refers to a town ('Isapura') or a deity ('Isawara'). Gadyanas with the same legend show Rama, Seeta and Hanuman.
