Yadavas of Seuna Desha (latterly of Devagiri), Mailugi Deva, Silver Dramma, 0.70g, Obv: Stylized lion facing right, Rev: Devnagari legend “Shri Mai lu / (gi) De va” in two lines. Very fine, very rare. Mallugi was a loyal feudatory to the Chalukya king Tailapa III. His general Dada and Dada's son Mahidhara fought with Tailapa's rebellious Kalachuri feudatory Bijjala II. The Yadava records claim that he seized the Elephants of the king of Utkala, but do not provide any details. He also raided the kingdom of the Kakatiya ruler Rudradeva, but this campaign did not result in any territorial gains f
