Shams al din Muzaffar Shah III, Silver Rupee, 11.47g, Dar al Darb Ahmedabad Mint, AH 991, Obv: Sultan muzaffar shah ibn Mahmud shah within double square with dots in between, marginal legend probably “al sultan al a’zam khallada allah mulkahu wa sultanahu” and mint name, Rev: Shahada within double square with dots in between, four caliphs in margin (G&G# G647). About uncirculated, very rare in this grade. In 1583 AD Muzaffar Shah III regain Gujarat for a short period. During the reign he struck coins in Mughal pattern and standard. Historical important coin.
