Akbar, Gold Mohur, 10.87g, “Kalima” type, Jaunpur Mint, AH 973, Obv: Full name of the Emperor, Rev: Kalima with names of Rashidoon Caliphs, AH date and Mint. Extremely fine, extremely rare. Mint-name in spite of being inscribed at an odd position, is fully discernible on this specimen. The letters ‘La’ of the word ‘Ta’ala; in the invocation Khallada Allah Ta’ala Mulkahu wa Saltanahu forms the second divider.
