Guptas, Skanda Gupta, Gold Dinar, 9.11g, “Archer- Sankhanidhi” type, Obv: Nimbate figure of standing king, holding strung bow in right and an arrow in the left, Garuda standard, with ribbons attached to the staff in the background, Brahmi legend “Jayati…..” around, Rev: Nimbate Godess Lakshmi seated cross legged on bloom lotus, holding lotus flower in one hand and diadem in the other, Sankhanidhi symbol with pearls flowing out is on reverse in the upper top left quadrant, Brahmi legend “Kramadityah” to right (S Kumar# Class I, Var.C). Very fine, rare.
