Asaf Jah, Copper, 9.20g, Nanded Mint. Complete Mint name visible. Very fine, extremely rare. The coin is very similar in fabric and typology to the issues of Basmat Nagar Mint which was not located far away. The mint-name Zarb Nanded is very clearly inscribed on the reverse. These coins were struck mostly as to demand for small copper change to pay for labour in the Berar cotton farming industry.
