Ancient Western Malwa, post-Mauryan period of “Pusyamitra”, die-struck, Lead, 17.15g, Obv:

Ancient Western Malwa, post-Mauryan period of “Pusyamitra”, die-struck, Lead, 17.15g, Obv: Symbolic composition of a bull facing left, a tree-in-railing, a taurine and a triangle-headed standard, Rev: Double wavy line with fishes in between, 'Ujjain' symbol above it; Brahmi legend “Pusami to left and tasa” to right. It is highly possible that these coins may have struck by Great Ruler and Founder of Sunga Dynasty “Pushyamitra Sunga”. Scholars have different views on this because of no Royal title attached in legend. Historically very important and extremely rare coin.
