Alamgir II, Silver Kalima Rupee, 11.00g, Dar-ul-khilafat Shahjahanabad Mint, AH 1168/2, Obv: Kalima within a square-area, Rev: Name and title of the ruler within a square-area (KM 464.1). Very fine+, extremely rare. The coin represents the resuurection of the Kalima in Mughal numismatics. The earlier practice of putting the Kalima on the obv of coins was stopped by Aurangzeb under a religious pretext.
