Indo Greeks, Strato III ‘the Father-loving’ issued jointly with Strato II, Silver Drachms (2), 2.35g, 2.34g, Obv: Crude diademed bust facing right, jumbled Greek legend “BASILEOS SOTEROS STRATONOS KAI PhIL STRATONOS”, Rev: Athena hurling thunderbolt in centre, Kharoshthi legend “Maharajasa Tratarasa Stratasa Putrasa Chasa Priyapita Stratasa” around. On one coin, Kharoshthi letter “Mi” in the right field, and on the other coin Kharoshthi letter “Da” in the left field. (BN series 6 var.). Very fine, very rare. 2 coins.
