Order of British India, (OBI),1837-1939, Gold Star Neck Badge, 43.00g, Fist Class, instituted in 1837 by the East India Company as an award to native officers for outstanding, long and meritorious service, the Order of British India continued to be awarded until the Partition of India in 1947. The 1st class badge is bigger than rest and has a crown with suspender ring, the lion in centre has a light blue background. With original neck ribbon. Extremely fine, extremely rare.
