Ala al-Din Husain Shah, Silver 1/3 Tanka, 3.63g, an unusual and unique type, AH (9)06, Obv: Arabic legend “al-Sultan al-Adil Ala (al-Dunya) wa al-Din”, Rev: Arabic legend “…Khallada Allah…wa Saltanahu” followed by AH date (Not listed in the G&G). Very fine, extremely rare. No one-third tanka denomination coin of Husain Shah is ever known to date. The legends, although truncated, come very close to the inscriptions (titles and invocation) on Tanka listed as B766, which is of Khazana Mint.
